Role Description The Funding Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing funding options to support ongoing and upcoming real estate projects, including debt, equity, and alternative financing sources. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, preparing funding proposals, coordinating with banks, investors, and financial institutions, and monitoring funding timelines and compliance requirements.

The Funding

Specialist will collaborate closely with finance, project, and senior management teams to ensure optimal capital structures and efficient fund utilization. The role also involves maintaining detailed funding documentation, tracking market trends in real estate finance,



and providing regular reports and recommendations on funding strategies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate funding options, assess project feasibility, and interpret financial data.
- Candidates should possess Funding and Finance skills to structure deals, manage capital requirements, and ensure timely fund disbursement.
- Candidates should possess Investments-related skills to understand investor expectations, evaluate returns, and support investment decisions for real estate projects.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to liaise with financial institutions, investors, internal stakeholders, and prepare clear funding proposals and presentations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, in Finance) are an advantage.
- Experience in real estate funding, corporate finance, or banking is highly desirable, preferably within property development or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and basic financial reporting tools; familiarity with regulatory and compliance aspects of real estate finance is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chennai Area, manage multiple funding processes simultaneously, and maintain high levels of integrity and attention to detail.
