Full Stack Engineer Intern Pathway, AI Platform | Kasparro | Bengaluru
Kasparro measures and improves how brands appear in AI search engines. Our product is in production with paying clients in India and the US. You will build backend features, AI workflows, and dashboards in a mentored role, with code review before release.
ROLE DETAILS
Experience: 0-1 years
Type: Internship pathway (three-month learning phase; Pre-Placement Offer based on performance)
Location: Bengaluru, on-site, five days a week (no remote option)
Reports to: Senior Engineer
COMPENSATION
- Training period (first 3 months): stipend of ₹30,000–35,000 per month, based on skills and interview performance.
- On confirmation (PPO, based on performance): ₹5–8 LPA cash, plus an ESOP grant of matching value. Total ₹10–16 LPA.
OUR STACK
Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, PostgreSQL, async pg, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, React, Next.js, Gemini and OpenAI APIs, Google ADK, LangGraph, Langfuse, Docker, Fly.io, GitHub Actions, Claude Code and Cursor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build async FastAPI endpoints with validated requests, responses, and clear error handling.
- Work on PostgreSQL tables, SQL queries, and database migrations.
- Build agent tools and workflows; validate model outputs and debug failures using logs and traces.
- Build React and Next.js dashboards and report views with AI coding tools.
- Debug your features, add checks and tests, and ship through reviewed pull requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong Python fundamentals, basic async, and FastAPI or an equivalent framework.
- PostgreSQL: simple table design and SQL with joins, filters, and aggregations.
- React: components, state, forms, and API calls with loading and error states.
- Git and deployment: branches, pull requests, merge conflicts, and at least one deployed app.
- At least one hands-on project using OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini APIs.
- Solid problem-solving: read errors, investigate, and explain when you are blocked.
- Claude Code or Cursor experience, or readiness to start within a week.
PREFERRED
- Students from IITs, NITs, VIT, and IIITs are preferred.
- Production software experience, agent tools and multi-step workflows, exposure to Google ADK, LangGraph, or Langfuse, cloud or Docker experience, an accessible portfolio, or a testing habit.
NOT REQUIRED
Professional AI experience, deep system design, AI search or SEO knowledge, or a particular degree. Shipped work matters.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
This is your learning phase. The PPO depends on shipped work, response to review feedback, and how you investigate failures.
Weeks 1-4: Learn the codebase and domain; ship small, reviewed changes
Weeks 5-8: Deliver small features from API to UI with engineering review
Weeks 9-12: Own a bounded feature, its tests, and its failure handling

Round 1: Recruiter conversation and a focused 2-3 hour take-home assessment
Round 2: Engineering walkthrough of your assessment and project
