Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Engineer at Bytescare.

The Full Stack

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that power brand protection and threat detection platforms, working across both front-end and back-end components. Typical responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, integrating data sources and services, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable system performance. The role involves collaborating closely with product, data,



and security teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of architecture and development practices.

The Full Stack

Engineer will also help enhance automation, refine detection pipelines, and support deployment and monitoring in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

- Strong full-stack engineering background with skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including building and optimizing APIs, data models, and server-side logic.
- Experience in Front-End Development, including up-to-date JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Solid understanding of web architectures, RESTful services, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and integration with cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and interest in domains such as brand protection, digital security, or fraud prevention.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, perform code reviews, and collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring/observability tools is beneficial.
