Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript and modern web application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing responsive, user-friendly, and maintainable interfaces for enterprise retail and e-commerce applications. The candidate should have a solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, browser behavior, HTML, CSS, asynchronous programming, and API integration. Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React or Angular is desirable, subject to the requirements of the specific AEO project.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive web application interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Build reusable UI components and maintainable frontend modules following established coding standards.
- Implement client-side business logic, form validation, event handling, and application workflows.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs and handle asynchronous requests, responses, and errors.
- Develop responsive interfaces that work consistently across supported browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Identify and resolve UI defects, performance bottlenecks, and browser compatibility issues.
- Optimize page rendering, JavaScript execution, loading time, and overall application performance.
- Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and Agile development activities.
- Maintain code quality, accessibility, security, and frontend development best practices.
- Support existing applications, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to ongoing enhancements and modernization initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

- Robust hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+), including functions, closures, objects, arrays, promises, and asynchronous programming.




- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, DOM manipulation, browser events, and responsive web design.
- Experience developing interactive, component-based web applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs using Fetch, Axios, or equivalent technologies.
- Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, browser networking, and client-server communication.
- Experience with debugging tools, browser developer tools, and frontend performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of frontend testing, code quality, reusable components, and maintainable application architecture.
- Ability to translate functional requirements and UI designs into reliable, production-ready interfaces.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with React.js or Angular, depending on the project technology stack.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js-based frontend tooling, npm, and modern build tools.
- Experience with state management, routing, component lifecycle, and frontend application architecture.
- Exposure to Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine, or equivalent testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and frontend deployment processes.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, product catalog, shopping, checkout, order tracking, or other customer-facing digital applications.
- Exposure to accessibility standards, web performance metrics, and modern UI development practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong JavaScript fundamentals rather than relying entirely on a framework. Candidates should be able to explain how they build reusable components, consume APIs, manage asynchronous operations, troubleshoot browser issues, and improve application performance. Key Skills: JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, DOM, REST API Integration, Responsive Design, Git, Frontend Testing; React.js or Angular preferred, subject to project requirements.
