At Agiliti, we build Alchemy, a self-hosted runtime that lets enterprises run AI agents like a real team: defined roles, human approvals for anything irreversible, budget ceilings, and a tamper-evident record of every step.

We're early. We're working closely with our first design partners, shipping fast, and growing the team. You'll be our first HR hire, and you'll shape how Agiliti hires, onboards, grows, and takes care of its people from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Hire the founding team

- Own end-to-end recruiting: job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interview loops, and offers
- Find strong AI and backend engineers (Node.js, agent frameworks, security-minded builders) and early go-to-market talent who can sell to enterprise CISOs, CFOs, and CIOs
- Build our talent pipeline through LinkedIn, referrals, communities, and recruiting partners
- Create a candidate experience as thoughtful and transparent as our product

Build HR operations from scratch
- Set up HR systems, employee records, offer letters, and our first employee handbook
- Run onboarding and offboarding so every new hire is productive in week one
- Manage payroll, benefits, and leave administration with our providers
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws: PF, ESI, gratuity, the Shops & Establishments Act, and POSH, including setting up the Internal Committee

Shape people and culture

- Be the trusted go-to person for every employee question and concern
- Help turn our values (transparency, ownership, honesty about limits) into everyday practice




- Set up lightweight goal-setting, feedback, and performance processes
- Drive engagement, recognition, and retention as the team grows

Partner with the founders

- Plan headcount and org design for our next stage of growth
- Help define salary bands and ESOP guidelines
- Track simple people metrics and recommend improvements

WHO YOU ARE

- 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with hands-on recruiting experience, ideally hiring for tech roles
- You've worked at a startup or in a rapid-moving team and enjoy building from zero
- Comfortable wearing many hats, from sourcing an engineer in the morning to drafting a policy in the afternoon
- Solid working knowledge of Indian employment law and statutory compliance
- Clear communicator with good judgment and discretion
- Bonus: experience hiring for AI/ML, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS companies
