About Affluense

Affluense is an AI-powered wealth intelligence platform used by leading wealth managers, banks and BFSI firms across India. We track who’s creating wealth, which deals are happening and where money is moving, and we turn that into intelligence our customers act on every day.

Our customers make real decisions based on what we deliver, so every number, name and deal has to be right.

The Role

You’ll own the accuracy of the financial intelligence we deliver. You’ll review deal activity, company financials and wealth signals, verify them against multiple sources, and make sure everything is correct and complete before it reaches our customers.

This is a finance and research role. It is not a data science or machine learning role. If you enjoy reading a funding announcement or an IPO prospectus more than training models, keep reading.

What you’ll do

- Verify deals, including funding rounds, IPOs, M&A;, block deals, stake sales and exits, for accuracy: amounts, valuations, parties involved and dates
- Cross-check company and promoter information across sources such as MCA filings, exchange disclosures, DRHPs and news
- Catch inconsistencies, missing details and anything that doesn’t add up
- Organise and clean data in Excel so it’s ready to use
- Keep up with India’s deal and capital markets activity, and flag what matters

What we’re looking for

- BBA, BCom, BMS or Economics students or recent grads with a Finance specialisation (final-year students are welcome)
- A solid understanding of how deals work: what a funding round, IPO, OFS, merger or acquisition actually means, and the numbers behind it
- Comfort reading annual reports, financial statements and exchange filings
- Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, cleaning and reconciling messy data
- Exceptional attention to detail. You double-check things without being asked.
- Quick with numbers and comfortable working with large volumes of information
- An eye on the markets out of genuine interest, not just for your exams

Positive to have

- CFA Level 1, CA Inter or NISM certification, or currently pursuing one
- Basic Python or SQL, or the willingness to learn it to automate repetitive work
- Experience in your college finance or investment club, or a stock market society

This role is probably not for you if your main goal is to build ML models or work on AI or data science projects. We’d rather say that upfront.
