Service Engineer / Executive

Job Summary

A Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment or machinery. They ensure that the products or systems are functioning correctly and meeting performance standards.

Qualifications

- A degree or diploma in a relevant engineering field.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Physical fitness for handling equipment and working on-site.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and set up equipment or systems according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions or technical issues.
- Provide technical support to customers and address their queries or concerns.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements.
- Document service activities, including reports on maintenance and repairs.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and product developments.
- Train customers or colleagues on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working with machinery.




- Travel to customer locations to perform on-site service when necessary.
- Inhouse repair work or testing of the necessary components or accessories like electrodes or conductivity cells etc.
