Rosa Dame is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Fashion Design Intern to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about fashion who wants to gain hands-on experience across different aspects of the fashion industry.

The selected candidate will work closely with multiple departments, including design, sampling, production, quality control, merchandising, and operations, gaining practical exposure to the complete garment development process, from initial concept to finished product.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, design aesthetics, finishing techniques, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the design team with new product development, design concepts, and sampling.
- Work closely with different departments to understand the complete garment production process.
- Support fabric selection, sourcing, and evaluation based on design and quality requirements.
- Assist in monitoring garment construction, stitching, finishing, fitting, and overall product quality.
- Identify and communicate issues related to garment fit, finishing, fabric, and construction.
- Coordinate with the sampling and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately.
- Assist with quality checks to ensure finished garments meet the brand's standards.
- Conduct research on fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and design techniques.
- Support day-to-day design and production activities as required.

Requirements & Qualifications




- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of fabrics, textiles, garment construction, and design principles.
- Basic understanding of garment finishing, stitching techniques, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in garment fit, finishing, and overall product quality.
- Understanding of women's westernwear and current fashion trends.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take initiative.
- Basic knowledge of fashion illustration, technical sketches, or design software is an added advantage.
