Role Description The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort throughout the hotel. This full-time, on-site role is based in Tiruppur and includes managing housekeeping and laundry teams, scheduling staff, and monitoring daily room and public area cleaning. The role involves implementing brand standards, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, coordinating linen and inventory management, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.

Housekeeper will collaborate closely with front office and maintenance teams to address guest requests, manage lost-and-found procedures, and support smooth hotel operations. The role also includes training and mentoring team members, driving service quality, and supporting cost control and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong housekeeping and laundry management skills, including oversight of cleaning procedures, linen care, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Proven organization skills for scheduling staff, managing inventories, and maintaining detailed records and reports.
- Experience in training, coaching, and developing housekeeping staff to meet brand and service standards.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in upscale or business-class properties.
- Knowledge of hospitality safety, sanitation, and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
