Consultation and Diagnosis

- Examine patients presenting with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck-related complaints.

- Obtain detailed medical histories and perform appropriate ENT examinations.

- Diagnose common and complex ENT conditions and recommend suitable treatment.

- Identify emergency and high-risk cases and arrange timely referral or hospital transfer when required.

- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and follow-up requirements to patients and their attendants.

B. Treatment and Clinical Procedures

- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.

- Perform ENT procedures within the scope of clinical privileges, available facilities, and professional competence.

- Conduct or supervise procedures such as ear wax removal, nasal examination, throat examination, and other approved minor ENT procedures.

- Review diagnostic reports and recommend further investigations when clinically indicated.

- Refer patients for audiometry, endoscopy, imaging, surgery, or other specialist opinions when necessary.

Safety and Clinical Quality

- Follow standard infection prevention, sterilization, and biomedical waste management protocols.

- Ensure the secure use and maintenance of ENT instruments and equipment.

- Obtain informed consent before procedures wherever required.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.

- Follow applicable medical laws, professional ethics, and clinic policies.

Documentation and Medical Records

- Maintain accurate consultation notes, diagnoses, prescriptions, procedure records, and follow-up details.

- Record relevant clinical findings and advice in the clinic's medical record system.

- Complete medical certificates and reports only when clinically justified and legally appropriate.

- Maintain proper documentation of referrals, adverse events, and emergency cases.

E. Coordination and Teamwork

- Coordinate with reception, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostic services, and clinic administration.

- Guide nursing and clinical support staff regarding ENT patient preparation and procedural requirements.

- Communicate professionally with colleagues and other specialists.

- Inform the clinic manager of equipment deficiencies, clinical risks, or service-related concerns.

F. OPD Management and Patient Experience

- Attend scheduled OPD sessions punctually and remain available during agreed consultation hours.

- Manage patient consultations efficiently without compromising clinical quality.

- Minimize avoidable waiting time and communicate delays to the clinic team.

- Maintain respectful, empathetic, and professional behaviour with patients and attendants.

- Support patient education, preventive ENT care, and appropriate follow-up compliance.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per year
