Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead / Senior Embedded Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in MEAN Stack development , along with proven experience developing and deploying applications on ARM64 hardware running custom/embedded Linux .

The primary focus of this role is the design, development, debugging, optimization, and maintenance of full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

The applications will run in an embedded environment, requiring the candidate to understand the underlying ARM64 hardware and custom Linux platform and optimize applications accordingly.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both the application and system layers , particularly in environments where applications operate under CPU, memory, storage, I/O, and network resource constraints .

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack / MEAN Application Development

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using the MEAN stack .
- Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js .
- Work extensively with MongoDB/NoSQL for application data management.
- Develop application components using JavaScript/TypeScript .
- Design and integrate REST APIs and application services .
- Debug, test, optimize, and maintain production-grade applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers.

Embedded / ARM64 Linux Environment
- Develop and deploy applications on ARM64-based hardware running custom/embedded Linux.




- Work with the underlying Linux workplace to deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications.
- Understand the interaction between the application layer, Linux operating system, and ARM64 hardware .
- Troubleshoot application and system-level issues involving processes, networking, logging, system services, and resource utilization .
- Optimize applications for resource-constrained environments, including limited CPU, memory, storage, I/O, and network resources .
- Identify and resolve issues such as memory leaks, excessive CPU utilization, resource exhaustion, application crashes, and performance bottlenecks .
- Make appropriate application and architectural decisions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance within hardware and system constraints.

Required Technical Skills

MEAN Stack Development

Strong hands-on experience with:
- Node.js
- Express.js
- MongoDB / NoSQL
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Backend services and REST APIs
- Web-based application development
- Application architecture
- Debugging and troubleshooting

- Performance optimization

- Git and standard software development practices

ARM64 / Embedded Linux
- Hands-on experience developing or deploying applications on ARM64 hardware .
- Strong experience with Linux , preferably custom/embedded Linux environments.




- Experience running web/application stacks directly on embedded or edge devices .
- Understanding of Linux processes, services, networking, logging, system resources, and troubleshooting .
- Experience optimizing software for resource-constrained environments .
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across the application, Linux, and hardware layers .
- Experience diagnosing CPU, memory, storage, I/O, networking, application crashes, and performance-related issues .

Leadership & Communication
- Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex application and system-level issues.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ownership and accountability for technical deliverables.
- Ability to conduct code reviews, guide developers, and contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
