Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with experience in solar power systems to design and develop ACDBs, DCDBs, electrical schematics, and related engineering documentation. The candidate will work closely with the design, production, procurement, and project teams to deliver efficient and compliant electrical solutions for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design ACDB and DCDB panels as per project requirements and applicable standards.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Select and size electrical components such as MCCBs, MCBs, SPD, Isolators, Contactors, Busbars, Cables, CTs, and Protection Devices.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing and procurement.
- Coordinate with the production team during fabrication and assembly.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, CEA, DISCOM, and customer specifications.
- Review customer drawings and suggest cost-effective design improvements.
- Coordinate with procurement for component selection and vendor approvals.




- Support quality inspections and resolve design-related issues.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of solar electrical systems.
- Experience in ACDB and DCDB design.
- Knowledge of LV electrical panels and protection systems.
- Ability to prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Understanding of cable sizing, breaker selection, earthing, and surge protection.
- Familiarity with IEC, IS, and electrical safety standards.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Experience

- 25 years of experience in solar EPC, electrical panel manufacturing, or renewable energy.
- Experience in designing ACDB, DCDB, LT Panels, or electrical control panels is preferred.
- Knowledge of Module Mounting Structure (MMS) coordination will be an added advantage.
