Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Education Counsellor to guide students regarding courses, career opportunities, and skilled training programs. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their career goals, explaining suitable courses, and converting enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding available courses, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand students’ educational backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
- Explain course details, duration, fees, eligibility criteria, and career prospects.
- Handle incoming enquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert leads into admissions.
- Maintain student enquiry records and update CRM or Excel trackers.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the training and placement teams to provide accurate information.




- Maintain professional relationships with students and parents.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the reporting manager.

Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, counselling, and negotiation abilities.
- Good customer-handling and follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Ability to meet targets and work in a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Freshers can apply; prior experience in education counselling, telesales, admissions, or customer service will be an advantage.
- Candidates with an interest in education, training, and career guidance are preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Confident in communicating with students and parents.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up on leads.
- Interested in student counselling and admission conversion.
