Role Overview

We are looking for a robust writer who can research, understand and communicate developments across the cargo, logistics, supply chain and transportation sectors.

The role will involve writing for the Cargo Insights magazine, website, newsletters, social media and other digital platforms, along with supporting interviews, industry features and event coverage.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and write industry news, articles, interviews, features and opinion pieces.
- Develop content for Cargo Insights' print and digital platforms.
- Conduct interviews with CXOs, industry leaders and subject-matter experts.
- Cover logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, shipping, aviation, supply chain and related sectors.
- Write company profiles, event reports, thought-leadership articles and case studies.
- Monitor industry news, policy developments, business announcements and market trends.
- Convert research and interviews into clear,



engaging and well-structured stories.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, accuracy and readability.
- Create content for LinkedIn, newsletters and other digital channels.
- Coordinate with the design and social media teams for content publishing.
- Meet editorial calendars and publishing deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in content writing, journalism, media or B2B publishing.
- Freshers with excellent writing and research skills can also apply.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, aviation or business is an advantage.
- Strong research, writing, editing, SEO awareness and attention to detail are among the core skills generally expected in content roles.
