Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Documentation role for Freight Forwarding and Customs House Agent (CHA) services, located in Mumbai and open to candidates based in Mumbai. The role involves preparing, verifying, and managing export and import documentation in accordance with regulatory and client requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, customers, and external agencies to ensure timely and accurate processing of freight forwarding and customs-related paperwork. The role also includes maintaining records, tracking shipments, updating systems,



and supporting customer inquiries on documentation and shipment status. The individual will work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure compliance, minimize delays, and maintain high documentation standards.

Qualifications

- Skills in Forwarding and Freight Forwarding for handling logistics documentation and coordination.
- Knowledge of Export procedures and documentation related to freight transportation.
- Customer Service skills for managing client communication and resolving documentation queries.
- Understanding of Freight Transportation processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in CHA and freight forwarding documentation is highly preferred.
- Robust attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics or ERP systems; prior experience in a logistics or shipping company is beneficial.
- Relevant educational background in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field.
