Job Summary The Dispatch Head manages all warehouse, inventory, packaging, and logistics operations for our paint brush and roller manufacturing facility. This role ensures that high-volume production output—ranging from delicate natural bristle brushes to bulk synthetic rollers—is systematically organized, safely packed, and delivered to clients on time. The ideal candidate will optimize distribution costs, minimize transit damage, and maintain a seamless workflow between production and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Distribution Management

· Coordinate daily dispatches of varied product lines including paint brushes, roller covers, frames, trays, and extension poles.

· Negotiate freight rates and manage contracts with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transporters, and couriers.

· Optimize delivery routes and vehicle utilization to reduce transit times and lower freight costs.

· Track shipments proactively to ensure on-time delivery and quickly resolve any transit delays or disruptions.

Inventory & Warehouse Control

· Oversee inventory accuracy for finished goods using ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or custom inventory tools).

· Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles to manage stock rotation,



preventing the degradation of rubber, foam, or adhesive components over time.

· Supervise storage layout to maximize space utilization for bulky items like paint rollers and extension poles.

· Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification cycles to minimize inventory shrinkage.

Packaging & Quality Assurance

· Enforce strict packaging standards to protect brush bristles from bending and roller nap from crushing during transit.

· Verify dispatch documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, e-way bills, and delivery challans for 100% compliance.

· Inspect outgoing consignments against Sales Orders to eliminate wrong-product or wrong-quantity shipments.

Team Leadership & Safety

· Manage and train a team of warehouse executives, loaders, packers, and forklift operators.

· Enforce safety protocols within the dispatch bay, including proper handling of materials and equipment maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Industry-Specific Knowledge

· Familiarity with paint tools: Understanding the fragility of different brush filaments (natural vs. synthetic) and roller materials (foam, woven, knitted fabric) to dictate proper stacking and packing rules.





· Bulk handling experience: Proven track record handling high-volume, multi-SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) consumer or industrial hardware goods.
