Transcon Ind Ltd is looking for experienced Design Engineers in Mechanical and Electrical Design for its transformer manufacturing operations. Candidates with relevant experience in distribution and/or power transformer design are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and review transformer design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Mechanical Design: Handle transformer tank, radiator, structural components, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOM preparation.
- Electrical Design: Handle transformer core design, winding calculations, insulation design, electrical design calculations, and technical specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with customer requirements and applicable IS/IEC standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, testing, and other engineering teams.
- Support design optimization, cost reduction, and resolution of manufacturing-related technical issues.




- Maintain accurate design records, drawings, and engineering documentation.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience in Mechanical or Electrical Design in the transformer manufacturing industry.
- Mechanical candidates should have knowledge of AutoCAD, fabrication drawings, and BOM preparation.
- Electrical candidates should have knowledge of transformer design calculations, winding design, core design, and insulation systems.
- Familiarity with transformer manufacturing processes and applicable industry standards.
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
