Role & responsibilities

- Perform Internal audit covering various functions, locations and business processes.

- Understand business processes, identify key risks and evaluate the adequacy of existing controls.

- Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, non-compliance and potential risks.

- Understand the impact of ERP configuration and process flows on internal controls.

- Develop practical recommendations for strengthening controls and track implementation of the corrective actions.

- Assist in development / review / Improvement of Risk Control Matrices (RCMs), SOPs and control frameworks.

- Evaluate whether business processes are operating in accordance with approved SOPs, policies and delegated authorities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management and internal audit methodologies.





- Good knowledge of business processes and accounting principles.

- Ability to interact confidently with process owners across Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and other functions.

- Ability to independently perform process audits, walkthroughs and identify control gaps.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- CA with 23 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Internal Audit / Risk Advisory roles.

- Experience with a Big 4 / large qualified services firm or internal audit function of a large/mid-sized organization preferred.
