Responsibilities

- Develop and implement data testing strategies and methodologies to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in P&C; insurance software solutions.
- Conduct data validation to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Design test plans, test cases, and scenarios covering data completeness, correctness, and consistency.




- Execute manual and automated data testing according to defined test plans.
- Analyze source-to-target mappings and perform source-system data verification.
- Validate data transformations, aggregations, and business rules.
- Identify data anomalies and perform root-cause analysis with developers and data engineers.
- Participate in data migration and reconciliation testing across legacy and modern systems.
- Develop and maintain automated data validation scripts and frameworks using SQL, Python, or similar languages.
- Implement automated data validation checks to improve efficiency and detect data issues early.
- Test ETL extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring data flows correctly through pipeline stages.
- Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to prioritize and resolve defects.
- Perform regression testing and follow established quality standards and testing practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on data testing and validation.
- Understanding of P&C; insurance concepts, data models, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Knowledge of data testing principles and both manual and automated testing.
- Experience developing data validation scripts and frameworks using Python, SQL, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with ETL testing tools and data quality platforms such as Informatica,



Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Talend, or similar.
- Knowledge of BI reporting testing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar.
- Familiarity with Jira, HP ALM, or similar defect tracking and test management tools.
- Understanding of regression testing and Agile delivery.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Good To Have

- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, ICP, or Agile certifications.
