We are building an alternative social networking platform focused on helping people discover relevant information through trusted networks, rather than engagement-driven algorithms.

As the first Data Scientist, you will work directly with the founder and engineering team, with end-to-end ownership of:

- Search & Retrieval: Building semantic search and AI-powered information discovery systems.
- Recommendation & Ranking: Developing algorithms for personalised feeds, topic discovery and people recommendations.
- LLM Evaluation: Designing evaluation frameworks to measure the quality and relevance of AI-generated answers and recommendations.
- Privacy-Aware AI: Building algorithms that respect user-level access controls and data privacy.

What we're looking for: 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science / Machine Learning, with hands-on expertise in recommendation systems, ranking, search or retrieval, Python, SQL, embeddings and production ML systems. Location: Bengaluru | Work mode: In-office

This is an prospect to take ownership of core algorithms and shape the product's data science function from the ground up.
