Data & Insights LeaderSummary Xceedance is looking for a Data & Insights Leader to partner with re/insurers, agents, and brokers to accelerate their data-to-insight journeys, leading the capability from the front by driving business growth while ensuring successful delivery of data engineering and BI initiatives.

Location Global / Multiple locations (Xceedance spans the Americas, Europe, UK & Ireland, Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand)

Responsibilities

- Define and drive the enterprise data & analytics vision aligned to business priorities, translating business objectives into scalable data strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Own end-to-end delivery of data, BI, and analytics programmes while establishing scalable delivery models like pods, COEs, and shared platforms.
- Build and manage senior client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, lead solutioning and presales, and drive account expansion.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing data & analytics teams while fostering a strong data-driven culture and driving talent strategy.
- Establish strong data governance, data quality, privacy, compliance frameworks, and ensure responsible use of data and AI.

Requirements

- 20 years of progressively responsible experience in data warehousing, data migration, and reporting solutions.
- An engineering degree or an equivalent degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, EDW, Cloud platforms) with expertise in data engineering, BI, advanced analytics, and AI/ML adoption.




- Good understanding of the insurance/reinsurance value chain (Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Exposure) to identify high-impact use cases.
- Proven experience in driving AI-led and data-driven transformation initiatives, building frameworks, accelerators, and IP.
