- Lead the global Cyber Defense Centre (CDC) and oversee 24x7 security monitoring and incident response operations.

- Act as executive incident commander for major cybersecurity incidents, including ransomware, data breaches, and advanced persistent threats.
- Build and mature threat intelligence, proactive threat hunting, and digital forensics capabilities.
- Develop AI security monitoring, AI threat detection, and response capabilities aligned to emerging AI security frameworks.
- Drive detection engineering initiatives across Microsoft Sentinel, EDR/XDR, cloud platforms, and AI environments.
- Implement and enhance SOAR capabilities using automation, orchestration, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Present cyber risk metrics, operational KPIs, and security strategy recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals while managing strategic vendor and MSSP partnerships.

The Successful

Applicant - 15+ years of cybersecurity experience.

- Strong background in Security Operations Centres (SOC/CDC), Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering, and Digital Forensics.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity programmes in global,



cloud-first organisations.
- Proven experience handling major cyber incidents such as ransomware attacks, data breaches, and cloud security compromises.
- Experience with AI security monitoring, SOC transformation, security automation, and modern cyber defence programmes.

Skills - Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Digital Forensics, Detection Engineering, SOAR.

- Cloud Security across AWS, Azure, GCP, Containers, and SaaS environments.

- Frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK;, MITRE ATLAS, NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, SOC-CMM.
- Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Logic Apps, SIEM, SOAR, and automation platforms. Leadership & Soft Skills - Executive stakeholder management and crisis leadership.
- Strong communication and board-level presentation skills.

Education & Certifications - Engineering graduate or equivalent technical degree.
