Hiring: CSA Design Engineer / Design Manager

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred.

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing, reviewing and managing Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) design activities for Data Centre EPC and other complex industrial projects. The role involves design development, technical reviews, multidisciplinary coordination, quality assurance and delivery of cost-effective, compliant and constructible engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, review and manage detailed CSA designs, including structural systems, RCC and steel structures, foundations, equipment foundations, civil infrastructure and architectural interfaces.
- Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, BOQs, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian and international codes, project specifications, client requirements and Data Centre design standards.
- Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, electrical, ELV, BIM, architectural and other engineering teams to resolve design interfaces and clashes.
- Conduct design reviews, self-checks and quality checks to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
- Provide technical support to procurement,



construction and site teams and resolve design-related issues during project execution.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering, constructability improvements and cost optimization.
- Lead and mentor design engineers and BIM teams, allocate resources and monitor deliverables, as applicable to the role.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and design partners to address technical queries and close design comments.

Skills & Experience Required
- 5-25 years of experience in Civil, Structural or CSA design and engineering.
- Experience in Data Centres, Mission Critical facilities, industrial projects, infrastructure or complex EPC projects.
- Solid knowledge of RCC and structural steel design, foundations and civil infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
- Working knowledge of STAAD.Pro, ETABS or equivalent structural design software.
- Understanding of BIM coordination, design reviews and multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
- Knowledge of applicable Indian/international design codes and standards.
- Strong technical problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.
- For senior-level candidates: experience in design team leadership, technical approvals, client/consultant management and overall design delivery.
