We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President – Credit Risk Technology BI Engineer to lead the development of enterprise Business Intelligence, Semantic Data Models, Risk Analytics, and Reporting solutions supporting Credit Risk functions. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Credit Risk data, Power BI, semantic layer design, data engineering, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable analytics platforms and executive reporting solutions.

This role requires strong experience in building semantic data models (using tools such as Cube dev or similar semantic layer technologies), developing interactive dashboards and paginated reports, optimizing large-scale data platforms, and contributing to cloud-based ELT/ETL solutions in Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Risk Analytics & Reporting

- Design and deliver Credit Risk reporting and analytics solutions supporting:
- Exposure Management
- Counterparty Credit Risk
- RWA Calculations
- Basel III/IV Reporting
- CECL / IFRS9
- Stress Testing and Portfolio Analytics
- Develop executive dashboards, operational scorecards, portfolio monitoring reports, and analytical insights for senior management.
- Partner with Credit Risk, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of risk metrics and KPIs.

Dashboard & Reporting Development

- Develop highly interactive dashboards using Power BI
- Create and maintain:
- Executive Dashboards
- Interactive Visual Analytics
- Operational Reports
- Regulatory Reports
- Paginated Reports
- Implement advanced reporting capabilities including drill-through, row-level security, KPI scorecards, and dynamic parameter-driven reports.
- Manage report subscriptions, scheduling, automated delivery, and report governance.

Advanced Power BI Development

- Design and implement complex DAX calculations and measures.
- Develop optimized semantic models leveraging:
- Star Schema Design
- Calculation Groups
- Incremental Refresh
- Aggregation Tables
- Composite Models
- Troubleshoot and optimize report performance for large-scale datasets.
- Implement enterprise security and governance standards within Power BI environments.

Semantic Layer & BI Engineering

- Design, develop,



and maintain enterprise semantic data models using Cube dev or similar semantic modeling platforms.
- Build reusable business metrics, governed datasets, and standardized reporting layers.
- Enable self-service analytics and consistent metric definitions across business functions.
- Optimize semantic cubes for performance, scalability, and usability.

Databricks & Data Engineering

- Contribute to enterprise ELT/ETL solutions leveraging:
- Azure Databricks
- Delta Lake
- PySpark
- SQL
- Design and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and data quality processes.
- Implement scalable data pipelines supporting risk reporting and analytics workloads.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to deliver reliable and performant data products.

SQL Performance Optimization

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries against large volumes of risk and financial data.
- Perform query tuning and performance analysis.
- Design efficient data models, indexing strategies, and partitioning approaches.
- Improve reporting latency and overall platform performance through data optimization techniques.

Technology Leadership

- Define BI architecture standards and best practices.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
- Drive modernization initiatives involving cloud analytics, semantic modeling, and self-service reporting platforms.
- Mentor BI developers, data engineers, and analysts.

Stakeholder Management

- Work directly with senior business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize reporting initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements sessions with Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.
- Present technical solutions and analytical insights to leadership teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for Credit Risk reporting and analytics strategy.

- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, and deployment automation.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification, Databricks Certification, or related credentials.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering/ Information Systems, or a related field.
- 15+ years of technology experience, with substantial recent hands-on experience in business intelligence, reporting engineering, data warehousing, or analytics platform development.
- Demonstrated experience building and supporting enterprise-grade Power BI and data warehouse solutions.
