The Role:

Own our US Romantasy slate end to end. You’ll adapt international long-form fiction into audio-first scripts that feel native to US listeners while keeping the heart of the source story intact. This is a leadership role for someone with real storytelling craft, sharp editorial instincts, and a genuine love for werewolves, vampires, and the tropes that make readers binge.

What you’ll lead:

- Launch and grow a portfolio of Romantasy audio series for the US market, owning retention as much as the launch
- Turn web novels, self-published books,



and comics into high-impact serialized scripts
- Localize US slang, settings, and cultural sensibilities without losing narrative essence
- Amplify the tropes audiences love: fated mates, enemies-to-lovers, forbidden romance, and more
- Run an editorial pipeline of 40-60+ chapters per week, protecting consistency, emotional stakes, authentic dialogue, and pacing
- Mentor and manage a team of writers with specific, craft-level feedback

What we’re looking for:

- 6+ years in fiction or editorial work, including 2+ years leading a team
- Deep Romantasy expertise: you’ve written it, edited it, or read it widely enough to know it inside out
- Expert grasp of US culture, voice, and pop culture
- Superior editorial instincts for what sustains a story across a long format
- A track record of giving writers feedback they can act on

Bonus points:

- Experience adapting long-form narrative into serialized drama
- Active in Romantasy communities (BookTok, Wattpad, Kindle Unlimited, fan fiction)
- Excitement about AI and tech-enabled creative tools
