BRAND: Skate Supply India

We are Skate Supply India (SSI), featured on Shark Tank India and a leading name in India's skateboarding scene built around skate and youth culture.

We need someone who can write well, think in stories, and give each brand its own voice. You will write the scripts and captions, plan our launches and collabs, and tell our editor and designer what to make. You will also help the founder create content around personal presence around business, entrepreneurship, manufacturing and behind-the-scenes experiences.

You will not manage people. You will brief them, work with them, and help the whole team post better content.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Write scripts and voiceovers for Reels, along with hooks and captions, for all three brands
- Write for the founder. Turn the founder's ideas, stories and voice notes into on-camera scripts, talking-head Reels and posts that sound like the founder
- Keep each brand's voice clear. Maintain a simple one-page voice guide for each brand, and make sure Skate Supply India, Hearty and Piston never sound the same
- Plan the monthly content calendar with the social media manager
- Plan product launches. Map out teasers, launch day and follow-up content, with clear dates and owners
- Find and set up collabs. Shortlist skaters, creators, shops and brands, write the outreach messages, and brief the team once a collab is confirmed
- Shoot simple content. Film basic clips on a phone and put together simple Reels with the editor, so ideas turn into posts that are ready to publish
- Adapt content for other platforms. Rework ideas into posts for LinkedIn, Reddit and Quora,



and spot useful conversations and communities. The social media manager handles posting and replies
- Brief the editor and designer with clear, short, written briefs
- Review results every month. Look at what worked, what didn't, and what we should do more of

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

- 1 to 3 years of experience writing for social media, a brand, or a page (internships and personal projects count)
- A portfolio or samples of scripts, captions or Reels you have written
- Strong writing in English. Hindi or Hinglish is a bonus
- Real interest in skateboarding, streetwear or youth culture
- Positive with deadlines. You can run a launch timeline without being chased
- Comfortable taking feedback and improving fast

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience running or growing an Instagram page
- Basic video skills (shooting or editing on a phone)
- Experience with brand collabs or influencer outreach
- Knowledge of Instagram trends, hooks and Reel formats

HOW WILL IT WORK:

- In the first two months, the founder or SMM will review your plans before they go live
- You will own the ideas and the writing from day one
- Anything involving money, exclusivity or big-name collabs needs founder approval

- Content is planned and ready before the editor and designer need it
- Each brand has a clear, consistent voice
- Launches run on time with a proper plan
- Collabs are lined up every month
- Engagement and reach improve over time
