Job Title: Community Mobilizer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and community-oriented Community Mobilizer to support project implementation at the community level in Bhopal. The candidate will engage with local communities, build relationships with households and community leaders, organize awareness activities, and encourage community participation in heatwave preparedness, climate resilience, and environmental protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular field visits and build solid relationships with community members, households, and local leaders.
- Mobilize community participation in project activities, meetings, awareness sessions, and campaigns.
- Create awareness about heatwave preparedness, heat-related risks, climate change, and practical heat-mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with community leaders, women, youth, and other local stakeholders to encourage collective action.
- Support household surveys, beneficiary identification, data collection, and community-level assessments.
- Facilitate plantation drives, environmental awareness activities, water conservation initiatives, and other project interventions.
- Coordinate with relevant government departments, local institutions, schools, Anganwadi centres, and health facilities, as required.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings, attendance, field visits, beneficiary details, photographs,



and activity reports.
- Collect community feedback, identify implementation challenges, and share updates with the project team.
- Ensure the participation of women, vulnerable households, and other marginalized community members.
- Follow organizational policies, safeguarding principles, and project guidelines during all field activities.

Eligibility and Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass; graduates will be preferred.
- Experience in community mobilization, fieldwork, social development, or NGO projects will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in Hindi.
- Ability to engage with community members and facilitate meetings and awareness sessions.
- Basic smartphone skills, including WhatsApp and digital data collection; basic computer knowledge will be an advantage.
- Willingness to undertake regular field visits within Bhopal.
- Ability to work independently, coordinate with a team, and maintain accurate documentation.
- A proactive, responsible, and community-oriented approach.
