Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and independent CNC Turn-Mill/Axis Programmer & Operator for a contractual role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating advanced CNC Turn-Mill machines while ensuring parts are produced safely, efficiently, and strictly to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC Turn-Mill /Axis machines independently during assigned shifts.
- Programming & Controls: Write, modify, and interpret G-code and M-code programs directly on machine controls (Siemens, Fanuc, or Haas).
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex technical drawings, including engineering dimensions, geometric tolerances, and parts specifications.
- Operational Maintenance:



Monitor machine operations smoothly, change collets, tool inserts, blocks, and tool holders, and maintain proper coolant levels.
- Finishing Work: Perform necessary secondary manual operations such as deburring, sanding, and grinding.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical issues on the spot to minimize machine downtime.
- Quality & Adjustments: Make real-time machining adjustments to verify the finished parts match exact specifications and tight tolerances.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC Turn-Mill axes, tool setups, and component geometry.
- Mathematics: Robust foundation in industrial math and geometry for calculating dimensions, angles, and offsets.
- Time Management: Ability to self-manage time effectively to fulfill production targets and meet strict project deadlines.
- Adaptability: High level of involvement with a solid willingness to learn new machining technologies and techniques.
