Job Title: CNC Operator Experience: 2 Years Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Industry: Manufacturing / Machining / Automobile / Engineering

Roles and Responsibilities

- Operate CNC machines such as CNC Turning, CNC Milling, VMC, or HMC machines.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, machining drawings, and job specifications.

- Set up machines by loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per requirements.

- Perform tool setting, workpiece loading/unloading, and basic machine adjustments.

- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and productivity.

- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges.

- Check component dimensions as per drawings and quality standards.

- Identify machining defects and report deviations to the supervisor.





- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.

- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and shift reports.

- Follow safety procedures, 5S practices, and workplace housekeeping standards.

- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve daily production targets.

Key Skills Required

- Hands-on experience operating CNC machines.

- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and G-code/M-code is an advantage.

- Knowledge of engineering drawings and tolerances.

- Experience using precision measuring instruments.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining processes.

- Ability to meet production and quality targets.
