About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Cloud Data Engineer Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead the design, development, and scaling of our enterprise cloud and data platforms. In this hybrid role based in Hyderabad, you will bridge the gap between cloud infrastructure and modern data engineering, building robust data pipelines, highly scalable cloud architectures, and secure distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Data Platform Engineering: Architect, optimize, and scale modern data engineering ecosystems, leveraging Databricks as a core platform and Snowflake for data warehousing solutions.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive automation and operational efficiency by deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Establish and refine robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless, automated code and infrastructure deployment across environments.
- Security & Networking:



Oversee cloud security protocols, IAM policies, VPC configurations, and secure networking architectures to safeguard enterprise data assets.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional data science, software engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end data products and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of overall IT experience, with a proven track record in cloud architecture and data engineering roles.
- AWS Cloud Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with core AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, and API Gateway.
- Security & Networking: Strong expertise in AWS Security, IAM, VPC, and advanced cloud networking.
- Data Engineering Stack: Robust, production-level expertise in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow/Lakehouse architecture) and familiarity with Snowflake.
- Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on proficiency with Terraform or AWS CDK for automated provisioning.
- CI/CD: Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or Databricks Certified Data Engineer / Solution Architect.
- Experience operating within hybrid work models and fast-paced agile environments.
- Strong background in performance tuning large-scale data pipelines and data lakes.
