Job Overview

Globalex Builders Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong expertise in construction execution, project planning, billing, DPR preparation, BBS, labour management, and quality control. The candidate must be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and have working knowledge of Tally for project-related billing, cost tracking, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Execution: Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- DPR Preparation: Prepare Daily Progress Reports covering work progress, manpower deployment, materials, and site activities.
- BBS: Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules and reinforcement quantities as per structural drawings.
- Project Billing: Prepare RA bills, client bills, subcontractor bills, measurement sheets, BOQ quantities, and billing documentation.
- Planning: Prepare work schedules, monitor project milestones, and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Labour Management: Manage labour deployment, attendance, productivity, and subcontractor coordination.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and construction quality standards.
- Material Management: Monitor material consumption, wastage, reconciliation, and availability at the site.
- Cost Control: Track project expenses, quantities,



and billing records; use Tally for relevant accounting and cost documentation.
- Documentation: Maintain daily site records, measurement books, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and management to resolve site issues.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable construction standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in civil construction.
- Solid practical knowledge of execution, DPR, BBS, project billing, and planning.
- Experience in labour management and construction quality control.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
- Working knowledge of Tally for billing support, cost tracking, and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, estimation, and material reconciliation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site at Gopalpur, Odisha.
