Job Description Chief Manager – Legal

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 10 years

Qualification: LL.B. from a recognised universityRole OverviewWe are seeking a legal qualified with 10 years of experience, ideally with 5 years in a reputed law firm and 5 years in a corporate legal function, specialising in M&A;, joint ventures, and commercial contracting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead legal due diligence, documentation, negotiations, and execution of M&A; transactions.
- Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and strategic partnership contracts.
- Manage commercial contracts, including supply, distribution, service, and licensing agreements.
- Provide legal advisory on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business transactions.
- Identify legal risks and ensure appropriate mitigation across transactions and contracts.
- Partner with business, finance, and external legal counsel to support strategic initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience





- 10 years of legal experience across law firms and corporate legal teams.
- Strong expertise in M&A;, joint ventures, and commercial contracting.
- Sound knowledge of Indian corporate laws and contract law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
