About the RoleScoobies is looking for a detail-oriented Chemical Testing Executive to support our Quality Control and R&D; functions. We are seeking candidates with knowledge or hands-on experience in chemical testing, material analysis, laboratory procedures, and product safety testing, particularly for plastics, polymers, gels, liquid fillings, and toy-related materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Perform or assist with pH, viscosity, moisture content, Brix, density, and specific gravity testing.
- Support phthalate testing and chemical migration/extractable substances testing.
- Conduct or coordinate FTIR analysis for polymer identification and material verification.
- Perform or coordinate microbiological testing, including TPC, yeast and mould, and relevant pathogen testing.
- Prepare samples, operate laboratory equipment, and maintain accurate test records.
- Analyze test results, identify deviations, and support quality investigations.
- Follow laboratory SOPs,



safety protocols, and applicable testing standards.
- Maintain test reports, documentation, and calibration records.

Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant practical knowledge or candidates with up to 1 year of experience may apply.
- Basic understanding of chemical testing, laboratory equipment, and material properties.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and documentation skills.

Preferred Technical KnowledgeCandidates with knowledge or practical exposure to the following tests will be preferred:
- Phthalate Testing – DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, DNOP, etc.
- pH and Viscosity Testing
- Moisture Content and Brix Testing
- Density / Specific Gravity Testing
- FTIR Analysis
- Microbiological Testing – TPC, yeast and mould, and relevant pathogens
- Chemical Migration / Extractable Substances Testing

Significant: Candidates with hands-on laboratory experience or practical knowledge of these testing methods will be preferred. Experience with plastics, polymers, toy materials, gels, and liquid or sugar-based fillings will be an added advantage.
