Role Description The Certified Phlebotomy Technician will work full time on-site at the SKINOS clinic in Delhi, India. The role involves performing venipuncture and other blood collection procedures, ensuring accurate specimen labeling, handling, and preparation for laboratory analysis. The technician will follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols, and maintain clean, well-organized work areas and equipment.
Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying patient identity, explaining procedures in a clear and empathetic manner,
and providing professional and courteous customer service. The technician will collaborate with dermatologists, nurses, and laboratory personnel, support clinical workflows, and assist with documentation related to laboratory medicine.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong venipuncture skills and experience with protected, efficient blood collection.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dermatology and general clinical
- Candidates should possess customer service skills for interacting respectfully with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing questions.
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician from a recognized institution or governing body.
- Understanding of infection control, biohazard safety, and clinical quality assurance practices.
- Ability to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills in English and local languages; prior experience in a clinical or dermatology setting is an advantage.
