Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Carrier Onboarding Specialist to expand and activate our carrier network for US freight operations.

This is a sales-focused role, not a back-office data-entry position. You will prospect, pitch, negotiate and onboard trucking companies and owner-operators, converting cold leads into compliant, load-ready carriers.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and cold-call US carriers and owner-operators through load boards, FMCSA/SAFER databases and internal sources.
- Pitch brokerage services, highlighting quick payments, consistent loads and reliable support.
- Manage the complete carrier acquisition journey, from initial contact to first load booking.
- Complete carrier onboarding documentation, including carrier packets, W-9, Certificate of Insurance (COI) and agreements.
- Verify MC/DOT authority, insurance validity, safety ratings and compliance through FMCSA and tools such as Highway or Carrier411.
- Negotiate rates, handle objections and close deals.
- Coordinate with dispatch, operations and accounts teams to activate newly onboarded carriers.
- Maintain accurate records in TMS/CRM platforms and report daily and weekly performance.
- Build long-term carrier relationships to encourage repeat bookings and sustained engagement.
- Achieve monthly targets for carrier onboarding and activation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong sales mindset with confidence,



persuasion and a target-driven approach.
- Excellent spoken English with clear communication skills for US carrier calls.
- Strong negotiation, objection-handling and closing abilities.
- Willingness to work night shifts and from the Ahmedabad office.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail and document management abilities.
- Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, email, CRM and dialer tools.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in US freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch or logistics, including FTL, LTL, Reefer or Flatbed.
- Familiarity with MC/DOT numbers, FMCSA regulations, DAT, Truckstop and TMS platforms.
- Experience in inside sales, telesales, international voice processes or BPO operations with a proven sales track record.
