Business Head Agri Equipment

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Business Head to lead the growth and expansion of an agricultural equipment business, with a target of scaling revenue from 10 crore to 100 crore over the next three years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take end-to-end ownership of business strategy, P&L;, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Lead sales, product management, retail, dealer development, subsidy operations, B2B sales, and business operations.
- Expand market presence from 10 to 50 talukas and develop a scalable distribution network.
- Drive dealer productivity, retail conversion, channel expansion, and market penetration.
- Improve gross margins, working capital efficiency, inventory turnover, and cash flow.
- Develop business plans, budgets, and performance metrics to achieve growth objectives.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams and strengthen second-line leadership.
- Monitor business KPIs and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Strengthen dealer relationships and develop business opportunities across rural and semi-urban markets.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1218 years of relevant experience in agricultural equipment,



farm machinery, or rural distribution.
- Proven experience in P&L; management and scaling business operations.
- Experience managing a business with significant revenue responsibility, preferably 20 crore or more.
- Strong expertise in dealer network development, channel sales, and distribution management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and product management.
- Solid financial acumen, strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to achieve ambitious revenue targets while maintaining sustainable profitability.
