We are seeking an experienced Executive – Business Development to drive sales and client acquisition for our Food Testing Services . The role involves identifying current business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence in compliance with FSSAI guidelines .

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve individual sales targets as defined by management
- Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities for food, water, and different commodity testing services
- Actively explore and capitalize on new market opportunities
- Identify growth opportunities through new strategies, applications, and service benefits
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and service demand insights to management

• Initiate and manage commercial contracts , including quotations and proposals, as per sales plans and company guidelines

- Identify, qualify, and execute laboratory testing contracts aligned with internal capabilities
- Collect and report market trends and competitive developments
- Coordinate with internal teams on service execution, planning, special costs, and work acceptance
- Deliver professional presentations and maintain continuous communication with clients




- Manage work order creation and execution from customer requests
- Maintain accurate and updated customer data in CRM and submit daily sales reports to the reporting manager

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

- Diploma / Graduate / Post Graduate in Science / Food Technology / Chemistry or equivalent.(Preferred)
- Strong understanding of the Food, water, commodities or Testing Industry
- Good industry contacts with third-party food and water testing laboratories
- Sound knowledge of FSSAI guidelines and compliance
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Capable of multitasking and performing effectively under pressure
- Professional, mature, and discreet when handling confidential matters
- Proactive, self-driven, and goal-oriented with high productivity levels

Technical Skills

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable adapting to recent technologies and software systems
