Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Lucknow, focused on government furniture business through e-tender and GeM portal for regions including Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Varanasi. The role involves identifying and qualifying government opportunities, managing e-tender and GeM listings, preparing bids and proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure competitive, compliant submissions.

The Business Development

Executive will build and maintain relationships with government departments, procurement officers, and institutional clients, while tracking tenders,



follow-ups, and order closures. Daily responsibilities include lead generation, market research, pricing coordination, documentation, and regular reporting on pipeline, conversion, and revenue targets. The role also requires on-ground visits, client meetings, and close collaboration with sales, finance, and operations teams to support seamless project execution.

Qualifications

- Solid New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, particularly for government and institutional furniture projects via e-tender and GeM portal.
- Solid Account Management and Business relationship skills to nurture long-term partnerships with government departments and key stakeholders.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for proposals, tender documentation, and client interactions.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes, GeM portal operations, and e-tender platforms; prior experience in B2B or government sales is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow and travel within the assigned regions (Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi) as required.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and basic MS Office / Excel skills for bid preparation, pricing, and reporting.
- Minimum graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Self-driven, target-oriented skilled with integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
