Role Summary
We are looking for a field-driven Business Development Executive to build and own partnerships with colleges. You will approach college placement cells (TPOs), HODs, and principals, establish formal tie-ups, coordinate on-campus assessment exams, and drive student enrollment into our internship programs — both our merit-based free internships (for exam qualifiers) and our paid internship programs. This is a target-oriented role suited to someone who enjoys travel, relationship-building, and closing.
Key Responsibilities
College Tie-ups & Relationships
- Identify, map, and prioritize target colleges within the assigned territory.
- Visit campuses to pitch our internship programs to Training & Placement Officers (TPOs), placement coordinators, HODs, and faculty.
- Negotiate and formalize partnerships / MoUs with colleges and maintain long-term relationships.
On-campus Assessments
- Coordinate and conduct assessment exams on campus for the merit-based (free) internship track — scheduling, logistics, invigilation support, and result coordination with the internal team.
- Ensure smooth execution of seminars, orientation sessions, and info-drives around the exams.
Student Enrollment & Revenue
- Explain the two tracks clearly to students: free internships for exam qualifiers, and paid internship enrollment for other interested students.
- Drive paid internship enrollments and achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
- Manage the full funnel from campus visit → assessment → enrollment → handover to the program team.
Reporting & Coordination
- Submit daily / weekly visit reports and maintain accurate records in CRM.
- Track pipeline (colleges approached, tie-ups signed, exams conducted, students enrolled) and report performance.
- Coordinate with internal marketing, operations, and program teams for campus activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new college tie-ups / MoUs signed per month
- Number of campuses visited and assessments conducted
- Number of students enrolled (free + paid track)
- Revenue generated from paid internships
- Pipeline health and reporting discipline
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA / BBA in Sales or Marketing is a plus).
- 1–3 years in business development, institutional / education sales, field sales, or campus outreach. (Freshers with strong communication and a sales drive may be considered for a junior / trainee band.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; fluency in Kannada is essential for building rapport with local colleges and students, along with working English.
- Familiarity with the Rayalaseema region (Anantapur / Kurnool / Chittoor and nearby districts) and its colleges is a strong advantage.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, able to work independently in the field.
- Comfortable with extensive travel across multiple districts , including overnight stays when required; own two-wheeler with valid license required.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
Benefits
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Provident Fund
Experience:
- Field sales: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
