Role Description The Billing Specialist is a full time remote job. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end billing processes for pediatric therapy clients, including creating and reviewing invoices, validating billing data, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims.

Day-to-day tasks include reconciling accounts, monitoring payments, following up on outstanding balances, and assisting with denial resolution in coordination with the revenue cycle management team.





The Billing Specialist will communicate regularly with clients, payers, and internal stakeholders to clarify billing issues, update status on claims, and maintain transparent documentation. The role also involves maintaining billing records, supporting process improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant payer and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong billing process and client billing skills, with experience managing end-to-end billing operations.
- Proficiency in invoicing and basic accounting practices related to healthcare or professional services.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, payers, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, high accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple billing accounts simultaneously.
- Prior experience in healthcare or therapy practice billing, especially pediatric services, is an advantage.
- Comfort with billing software, practice management systems, and spreadsheet tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with integrity, accountability, and client-focused mindset.
- Relevant diploma or degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field preferred.
