Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to prepare and serve beverages, maintain bar operations, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of beverage preparation, drink presentation, inventory management, hygiene standards, and responsible alcohol service in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, juices, soft drinks, and other beverages as per the menu.

- Mix, garnish, and present drinks according to restaurant standards and recipes.

- Welcome guests, take beverage orders, and provide recommendations.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar counter.

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverages and ingredients.

- Monitor stock levels of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.

- Assist with inventory checks, stock reconciliation, and reporting shortages.

- Operate POS billing systems and handle payments accurately.

- Follow standard recipes and portion-control procedures to minimize wastage.

- Maintain glassware, bar tools, refrigerators, and beverage equipment in valuable condition.

- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

- Verify legal drinking age where required and follow responsible alcohol-service regulations.

- Handle guest requests and complaints politely and professionally.

- Coordinate with restaurant service staff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.

- Assist with menu updates, beverage promotions, and upselling.





- Monitor guest satisfaction and maintain professional service standards.

- Follow opening and closing procedures and prepare daily bar reports when required.

- Comply with company policies and applicable local regulations.

Requirements

- 12th pass, graduate, or Diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality preferred.

- 1–3 years of experience as a Bartender or in a similar food and beverage role.

- Knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, beverage preparation, and presentation.

- Familiarity with bar equipment, POS systems, billing, and inventory management.

- Good communication and customer-service skills.

- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and hygiene.

- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.

- Professional grooming, positive attitude, and teamwork.

- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

- Knowledge of applicable alcohol-service laws and responsible serving practices.
