Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced setting. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling basic food preparation tasks, restocking supplies, and collaborating with team members to create a welcoming café experience.



The Barista will represent MadSign Media’s brand values by delivering a professional, courteous, and engaging in-person experience to clients, partners, and visitors.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Hands-on Barista experience or training, with proficiency in beverage preparation, coffee equipment handling, and basic Food Preparation.
- Effective Communication skills to take orders accurately, provide clear information, and coordinate smoothly with team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, time management, and a focus on cleanliness and food safety.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability to work full-time schedules, including possible weekends or extended hours as needed.
- Basic numeracy and comfort with point-of-sale systems for handling cash and digital payments.
