We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Consultant to manage, optimize and support enterprise Atlassian environments. The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of professional experience, strong hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence, plus automation, platform optimization, Atlassian migrations, Marketplace applications and enterprise integrations. You will support Data Center to Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migrations and work with technical teams and stakeholders to keep the Atlassian environment stable, scalable and well governed.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Jira, JSM and Confluence, including large multi-project environments (Software, Service Desk and Business projects).
- Configure and optimize workflows, custom fields, screens, schemes, permissions, notifications and automation.
- Support Jira and Confluence Data Center to Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migrations.
- Participate in migration planning, testing, UAT, production cutovers and post-migration support.
- Support Marketplace app and plugin migrations, including compatibility assessments and validation.
- Manage and optimize Marketplace apps: evaluate, run proofs of concept, recommend and drive adoption.




- Develop and maintain automation, dashboards, reports, filters and JQL queries.
- Support integrations between Atlassian products and enterprise or DevOps applications (for example Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo).
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration and integration issues, including root cause analysis.
- Manage user access, roles, groups and platform permissions.
- Test and validate recent Atlassian versions, patches and plugins before deployment.
- Support Agile and ITSM processes through effective platform configuration.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, IT, vendors and business stakeholders, including global teams.
- Maintain platform documentation, standards and administration best practices; run user training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in Atlassian administration.
- Strong experience with Jira, JSM and Confluence.
- Experience supporting Data Center to Cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong Jira administration and configuration experience.
- Experience with JSM configuration and ITSM processes.
- Experience with workflow automation, JQL, dashboards and reporting.




- Experience with Marketplace apps and plugin administration.
- Knowledge of Atlassian migration tools such as JCMA and/or CCMA.
- Experience supporting Atlassian integrations with enterprise or DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Atlassian certifications such as ACP-120 (Jira Administration for Cloud) or equivalent.
- Experience with Cloud-to-Cloud migrations.
- Experience with Marketplace app migrations and compatibility assessments.
- Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira Align, eazyBI, Structure or Zephyr.
- Experience with Atlassian Crowd or centralized user and access management.
- Experience working with an Atlassian Solution Partner, MSP or global IT consulting organization.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Atlassian environments.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.
