Responsibilities &

- Key Deliverables

- Must be from automotive OEM (Passenger vehicle) company with minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing Quality

- Holding Degree in Mechanical

- Hands on experience of BIW Manufacturing processes

- Understanding of Spot welding, C02 Welding, VIN Machine , Robotic Hemming , Adhesives, Welding Fixtures

- Knowledge/Know-how of Body shop Indicators like Gap &

- Flushness (1D), Dimensional integrity (3D CMM) , Stack up Tolerance (GD&T;)

- Knowledge of Proactive systems like Poka-Yoke, Traceability , Zero defect stages / Operator, Human Error Prevention .

- Handling of Next customer issues (Paint , TCF &

- PQA)- root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment.

- Handling of field concerns- root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment.

- Knowledge of Recent product development (NPD) process. Should able to handle FTR related to BIW changes.

- Participate in various CFTs like EN, DCP, MPPAP, etc

- Managing & strengthening of BIW checks at EOL inspection.





- Carry out process and product audits as per plan and getting closure of audit observations.

- Ensure right quality of outgoing vehicles.

- Managing shop Quality indicators.

- Communicate shop / plant actions on product issues to internal & external customers.

- Guide Team / associates in their routine activities

- Co-Ordinate to resolve chronic concerns through QC story Approach

Work with related stake holders (Like PE, CME, PVT , Design) for chronic concern resolution
