Role - The Assistant Manager- Engineering is responsible for ensuring that preventive maintenance activities are conducted as per the schedule, and orders for critical inventory and spares are placed on time to prevent stock-outs. S/he is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and adherence to the uptime target of the plant. S/he is responsible for closely monitoring maintenance activities, reducing mean time to repair equipment, with an aim reduce mean time between failure across equipment.
S/he must ensure that trainings are conducted for operators and shift in charges on proper preventive management.
Role responsibilities
- Ensure that preventive maintenance activities are conducted as per schedule
- Ensure that the orders for critical inventory and spares are placed on time to prevent stock outs
- Ensure maximum uptime
- Ensure adherence to the uptime target for the plant
- Closely monitor maintenance activities and meet uptime targets
- Aim to reduce the mean time to repair for equipment to ensure maximum uptime of the machines to enable continuous production
- Aim to reduce the mean time between failure across equipment
- Ensure that trainings for operators and shift in charges are conducted regularly on proper preventive maintenance
Minimum 8 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering B.Tech Qualification
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
