Role Overview: The Associate – Hygiene & Appearance wil be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overa l visual appearance of buses operating on the Harbour Line. The role involves regular audits, vendor coordination, and strict adherence to SOPs to enhance customer experience and maintain service quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bus Audit & Quality Inspection ● Conduct regular audits of buses to ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are met

● Perform interior and exterior inspections as per defined checklists

● Identify gaps and ensure timely corrective actions

2. Cleaning Standards & SOP Compliance ● Ensure adherence to bus cleaning SOPs and hygiene protocols

● Monitor deep cleaning and sanitization processes

● Maintain consistency in quality across al buses

3. Inventory Management ● Track and manage cleaning materials





● Ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment

● Maintain inventory records and usage reports

4. Vendor Management & Coordination ● Coordinate with cleaning vendors for daily operations

● Ensure adherence to SLAs and hygiene standards

5. Pest Control & Fumigation ● Coordinate pest control and fumigation activities

● Maintain records of pest control schedules and actions

6. Reporting & Documentation ● Maintain audit reports, checklists, and compliance records

● Prepare daily/weekly hygiene reports

● Highlight issues and share insights with stakeholders

7. Hygiene Issue Identification & Resolution ● Identify hygiene-related issues proactively

● Ensure timely resolution and folow-ups

● Escalate critical issues when required

8. Customer Experience & Cleanliness Standards ● Ensure buses meet customer expectations for cleanliness

● Maintain high visual and hygiene standards at al times

9. Coordination with Staff ● Work closely with cleaning staff and supervisors

● Ensure tasks are completed as per schedule

● Guide teams on quality expectations

10. Time Management & Scheduling ● Plan and monitor cleaning schedules efficiently

● Ensure no delays in bus readiness due to hygiene issues

11. Escalation Handling ● Handle hygiene-related complaints effectively

● Escalate unresolved or critical issues to management

Required Skills & Competencies: ● Robust attention to detail and quality checks

● Good coordination and vendor management skils

● Basic knowledge of cleaning processes and hygiene standards

● Strong reporting and documentation skils

● Problem-solving and escalation handling ability

Qualifications & Experience:

● Graduate in any field

● 1+ years of experience in operations, facility management, or hygiene/quality roles

● Experience in transport, logistics, or facility operations is an added advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
