About the role

As Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition, you will own recruitment execution across Beyondburg, from an approved hiring requirement through screening, selection, joining and early-retention follow-up. This is a dedicated, hands-on role. The goal is a reliable hiring engine for existing stores and new openings, so that suitable people join on time and settle into their teams.

Key responsibilities

- Hiring intake: turn approved manpower needs into clear role briefs (skills, location, shifts, pay range, joining date) and keep a prioritised vacancy plan.
- Sourcing: build pipelines for service teams, kitchen teams, baristas, shift leaders and store managers through referrals, hospitality institutes, local networks, job platforms and staffing partners. Keep backup candidates for critical roles and new-store launches.
- Screening: check skills, pay expectations, availability, notice period and shift fit using structured questions and role-appropriate assessments. Record evidence for every recommendation.
- Selection: coordinate interviews and assessments with hiring managers, track decisions, keep candidates informed, and make sure offers match approved terms.
- Joining and early retention: stay in touch before joining, act early on no-show risk,



hand over joining details to HR and the receiving manager, and follow up at 7/30/60/90 days.
- New-store hiring: plan recruitment backwards from opening and training dates and build local pipelines for new cities.
- Reporting: maintain one reliable pipeline tracker and report vacancies, ageing, offers, joins, no-shows, source effectiveness and retention.

What you bring

- Typically 3-5 years in recruitment, with hands-on frontline hiring across multiple QSR, restaurant, hospitality or retail locations.
- Proven experience personally hiring store and kitchen teams, managing joining conversion and learning from early attrition.
- Strong screening, structured interviewing and stakeholder follow-through.
- Comfortable with recruitment data, Google Sheets and HR systems.
- Clear English communication, and the ability to engage candidates in languages relevant to the hiring market.
- Organised, persistent, honest with candidates and respectful of frontline workers. Willing to visit stores and build local relationships.
- Preferred: recent-outlet or new-city hiring experience, hospitality-institute networks, Kannada or Malayalam.

What this role does not cover Manpower and pay approvals, final technical selection, HR policy, store induction and training, payroll and attendance administration sit with other teams.

Salary: Rs 40,000 - Rs 45,000 per month
