About the Role The Specialist - Mechanical MEP is responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. This role involves ensuring that mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and ventilation, meet project requirements, comply with safety and industry standards, and operate efficiently.

Key responsibilities include conducting system analyses, reviewing technical specifications, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and collaborating with electrical and plumbing teams to ensure integrated solutions. The Specialist works closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to optimize mechanical system performance and support sustainable building practices. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, experience with MEP systems, and a commitment to quality and efficiency in building operations.

Responsibilities

- Executing the function of MEP (HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing) for large scale industrial and data centre projects (End to End Responsibility)
- Planning and Execution of MEP works for Infrastructure, Industrial projects, specifically warehouse & data centres with pre-engineered buildings, sub stations.
- Coordination with client, Design Consultants, PMC and all Internal Functions




- Weekly Project Progress Review of all Projects with Project head/Project director.
- Fortnightly Updating top management about progress and MIS of the Projects (Including Cost to Complete).
- ensuring safety and quality compliances in all works.
- Ensuring Planning and Scheduling for All projects with a micro level 6 Weeks LAP (Look Ahead Plan)
- Coordinating with other functions and ensure the execution/implementation is on track with productivity.
- Interaction with General contractor/contractor, project consultants, Project Management Team, to ensure the project implementation.
- Monitoring the Project cost and achieving improvement in Project EBIT through Value Engineering, Execution, PMC cost optimization, etc.
- Ensuring Proper documentation and communication with all stakeholders.
- Conducting Weekly Project Review with all stake holders for Engineering Status (TDS & Shop Drawings), project execution plan, change management etc.
- Follow up with architects, consultants and PMC in case of any technical issues clarification.

Qualifications

- Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications B. Tech/M. Tech in Mechanical

Required Skills

- Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential Experience about 7-10 years.
- Experience in MEP/Utilities projects.
- Experience in dealing with contractors, consultants, and clients
- Specific knowledge of P.E.B. (Pre-Engineered Building) structure.
- General coordination experience with external MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services for overall project completion
- Experience in email communication & related correspondence
- positive knowledge in Autocad
- Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, & Power point Presentation)
- Experience in creating Schedule in MS Project & Periodic Tracking Language.

Preferred Skills

- Desired Specific knowledge of heavy civil foundations civil aspects and super structures along with finishes.
- Knowledge of roads & drain works inside the plant along with utilities corridor development and construction.
