Assistant Manager (LANDING GEAR AND APU)

Location: NSP, Delhi

Timing: 2PM-11PM, Mon-Fri

Experience: Min 6 yrs

Key Responsibilities

1 Asset Management & Technical Evaluation

- Manage asset status, configuration, serviceability, operating hours/cycles, and remaining life.
- Evaluate maintenance history, LLPs, AD compliance, shop reports, and overhaul requirements.
- Support asset acquisition, leasing, exchange, sale, disposal, and valuation decisions.
- Assess repair, overhaul, and replacement options to optimize cost and residual value.
- Maintain asset registers and provide technical reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.

2 Repair & Vendor Management
- Coordinate repairs, overhauls, inspections, and shop visits with OEMs and approved MROs.
- Review repair quotations, work scopes, technical findings, costs, and turnaround times.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, warranties, and repair quality.
- Optimize repair costs while ensuring technical compliance and asset value preservation.

3 Documentation & Compliance
- Review and verify technical records, including FAA/EASA Form 8130, OEM documents, Folio 12,



back-to-birth (BTB) records, logbooks, BSI reports, and shop reports.
- Ensure documentation completeness, traceability, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory and maintenance records.

4 Commercial & Market Support
- Support sales and trading teams with technical evaluations and interchangeability assessments.
- Assist in fair market value (FMV) assessments and prepare technical summaries.
- Respond to RFQs and customer technical queries.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering, or AME qualification.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in aviation asset management or airline operations, specifically in Landing Gear and APU product lines.
- Robust knowledge of Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft platforms.
- Proficiency in IPC, AMM, CMM, SRM, OEM manuals, and BTB records review.
- Knowledge of aviation technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
