Role & responsibilities

- Manage fleet utilisation, vehicle availability, and reduction of downtime.

- Oversee route planning, load planning, and fleet maintenance.

- Monitor operational costs, budgets, fuel consumption, and fleet performance.

- Ensure safety standards, regulatory compliance, and effective driver management.

- Manage fleet management systems, telematics, and data-driven decision-making.

- Coordinate with customers, transporters, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

- Maintain strong knowledge of the transport broker market, freight rates, and seasonal demand and supply trends across India.

- Drive efficient and profitable transport operations, managing a minimum of 6,000 placements annually.

Preferred candidate profile





- 10+ years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.

- Solid understanding of the transport broker market and pan-India logistics operations.

- Knowledge of vehicle specifications, load capacity, Full Truckload (FTL) and Partial Truckload (PTL) pricing.

- Expertise in fuel management, load optimisation, and route-level profitability.

- Experience with telematics, fleet tracking systems, and demand and supply forecasting.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
